On the taloom home page – Dashboard – have a quick look to check the current recruitment situation. Intutive and clear icons display received messages for a specific job offer, new incoming applications, planed interviews, rating of new applications and much more…

Therewith you will receive in a few seconds the exact picture of your current recruitment situation within your team, department or, depending on authorization you set up, a part of your company (see Authorization Concept). Of course it is also possible to subscribe to the e-mail newstletters so you will still get an overview even you don’t check daily the homepage.

Applications can be collected in the system by E-mail, Job Portal (online application) or by Post (see Scan2taloom). Moreover we provide the opportunity to convert automatically resumes to Word or PDF in a structured form thanks to our partner Textkernel. Thereby the subsequent data maintenance can be minimized.

Intermediate replies, invites, refusals, offers and so on: taloom sends it all either directly per E-Mail to the applicants or will generate a PDF-File, which then can be print out and sent via post. Thanks to the mass function you save valuable time and send mails simultaneously to several candidates. You can answer to the candidate responses (eg. request for documents) directly on the application board of the system. (for more information see taloom mail engine).

In this way you avoid the manual transfer of messages to your Outlook mailbox. taloom pays also attention that the correspondance fulfills the Equal Opportunity Employement requirements.

taloom provides a fast and reliable recruiting management through its highly performant workflow engine. This ensures, for example, that a first interview is planned before the second but also that the work council will be consulted before the contract offer. Of course that is, if a works council does exist. The workflow engine can be flexibly adapted to the processes of your company. Our team will advise and support you during the implementation of the new system concerning processes and give you insights into best practices. Incidentally more processes are structured, more they can be integrated in the reporting of taloom (see Analytics).

You can adjust the covered fields (eg. Job cost) following your requirements to generate later informative debriefing. Moreover a sophisticated authorization concept regulates who should have access to the vacancies and thus to which applications.

Competing goals have always been a challenge. The candidate wants to apply as simply as possible and to provide all certificates he owns. However recruiters and department don’t want to open every single document to get a overview of his application. Therefore we provide our PDF generator, the jack of all trades. The candidate firstly uploads his different documents and our PDF Generator will assemble them to create a unique PDF that can then be viewed by recruiters and the department. Incidentally, the order of documents can be changed before the creation of the unique PDF file (certificates should not appear before resume !).

taloom integrates a complete appointment management system making tasks for recruiters, applicants and department as easy as possible. The candidate just has confirm the appointment by clicking directly on a link in his e-mail. Subsequently all participants will receive an e-mail with the appointment in an attached file scheduling the calendar of Outlook or Lotus Notes. Thus, you can continue using your existing calendar program and keep track of the application management system.

Because a department generally cannot spend a lot of time in the selection of applicants, discover the easiest and fastest tool possible: the Quich-Check from taloom.

The employee of a department simply receives per e-mail a link leading to an evaluation formular. There the candidate documents are available for download as a PDF (see PDF Generator), before being rated by the employee. If an employee of a department would like to find and compare which application are available for his job offer, he can easily log in and get an overview of the current situation. Thanks to our multi-layered data security technologies the access to the applications for external stays always prevented.

Applications can be easily ranked by a tag system. If you think a candidate is suitable for a particular task or his attributes could be interresting fort he future, you can simply notify them in a designated field of his profile.

This allows for example to save features that can be useful later. The tagging system appeared during the development of the Web 2.0 and is a very common technique to organize high volumes of data.

In case a candidate calls your company to ask the current status of his application, taloom provides a complete history of the events related to him.

There are different research technologies allowing a quick and easy application retrieval. The full text research scans textually everything stored in the system. This tool can scan lot of different formats such as Word, Powerpoint, PDF etc.

Another useful thing: the filter and fuzzy search: a detailed research by candidate attributes. This allows for example to find out candidates with chinese knowledges who have been studying at a particular university in Spain.

A candidate application cannot be lost in the system exept if it has to be lost. Simply because there are legal directives, the trash takes care by itself of the deletion of data once the application deadline is reached.

The processing of forms and contracts can become fast annoying as they often remain in general pretty much the same and only small details have to be adjusted.

The documents generation by taloom makes it easy for you: From the existing data in the system – according to your presitt, taloom will generate the final document as a PDF file. And this can then be sent by post or by e-mail. It couldn’t be easier…
