Matching & Search technology
Taloom identifies candidate through different criteria. There are several technologies available to find a candidate:
- Full text search – Review all data and documents in the system acccording to a specific keyword.
- Fuzzy search – If you are looking for a Master’s candidate for example, it will also appear bachelor’s candidates, but with a reduced rank.
- Dynamic XML-Matching - With this technology you can browse and evaluate all fields you are using for saving your candidates.
Quick Check
Allows external users (without login to the system) to interact with the system. A link in the e-mail leads the external users (eg department) on a single webpage he can interact there with the system. The access to the link is restricted via the IP restrictions and e-mail encryption. For more information, see applicant tracking.
E-Mail Engine
taloom is equipped with its own email engine (Exim). This allows to send e-mails to candidates, faculty, etc. on taloom. In addition, responses to these e-mails can be stored and allocated directly in the system.
Example: In case you need to send an e-mail asking for a candidate’s document, the recipient can reply directly and include his data into the message. taloom will receive the e-mail, indicate it as a new message in the dashboard and store the document in the candidate folder.
Tracking
Newsfeed
The newsfeed from taloom provides more transparency. Events are displayed in a dashboard-box (similar to the social network overview such as the Facebook newsfeeds). So you can see when new applications have been received, if an advertisement will expire soon, if applicant’s data have changed and much more. There are currently over 30 events available.
Social Media
Social media is becoming increasingly important for recruiting and employer branding. Of course, taloom also provides a direct connection to the most popular social network Facebook and several other services such as Twitter. This allows, for example, to implement referral marketing in social networks.
